During the sacred month of Dhul Hijjah, Muslims around the world observe the tradition of Qurbani—sacrificing an animal such as a cow, buffalo, goat, sheep, or camel—in honor of the legacy of Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him). Each year, Orphan Love Foundation carries out its nationwide Qurbani Project, ensuring the distribution of fresh sacrificial meat to impoverished families, orphans, and other vulnerable communities across Bangladesh. This initiative brings joy, nourishment, and hope to thousands during the blessed days of Eid al-Adha.
“(The righteous are those) who feed the poor, the orphan, and the captive for the love of God, saying: ‘We feed you for the sake of God alone; we seek from you neither reward nor thanks.’
— Qur’an, Surah Al-Insan (76:8–9)
